VirusTotal, a very cool way to scan a file with 32 anti-virus engines. You can easily use this online service to scan your downloaded e-mail attachments, files send to you by friends on instant messengers and softwares downloaded from the internet. If you’re going to use this service quite often, why not download their desktop tool. A special menu will be added to the right-click “Send to” menu so that you can easily upload a file. Read on to find out the result of one of the file I had uploaded to VirusTotal.

I uploaded a file to VirusTotal, a Windows XP key crack I found off the internet. 14 of 32 anti-virus engines managed to detect the file as dangerous. Some vendors detect it as a backdoor to steal passwords while a few detect it as a key finder. I guess it’s best to delete the infected file straight away. A very useful service huh?

There is another similar service on the internet by Jotti. Enjoy!

this is cool..thanks
use illegal cracks, and this is the risk
ROFL, this is pathetic. None of these are actual virus reports, mostly “hack tools”, this tool is well known and clean, it’s called Magic Jellybean Keyfinder… this isn’t even a fucking keygen. It’s just a key recovery tool, perfectly legal.
Apparently there’s also a key generator inside the zip archive besides than the Magic Jellybean Keyfinder.
