Virus Heat a rogue anti-spyware

Virus Heat is a rogue anti-spyware that misleads users into buying their fake anti-spyware program.

It has been a couple of weeks since the Virus Heat 3.9 hype around the internet. So, I downloaded the Virus Heat installer (vrh_setup.exe) off their official website and uploaded it to VirusTotal.com yesterday. The result? - only 4/32 anti-virus detected Virus Heat.

But the question here is how come there are only a handful of anti-virus vendors that flag Virus Heat as a rogue anti-spyware when they have even blogged about it?

That’s way a lot of money to get it repaired. Should have cost less than $100.
