The vundo trojan is one of the most caught PC infection on many online scanners. According to Symantec, Trojan.Vundo is an adware program that downloads and then pop-up advertisement. You can be easily infected by visiting a Vundo resided website through a link in a spam mail.
Once caught with Vundo, you will frequently see pop-up advertisements to encourage you to buy fraudware applications (Amaena, Drive Cleaner, ErrorSafe, System Doctor, WinAntiVirus, WinFixer) which claims to remove the malware you’re currently experiencing.
Among the easiest method for removing Vundo (also known as Virtumonde or Virtumondo) is by using VundoFix by Attribune. It is a customized removal tool to scan for Vundo infection and removing it.
You should perform a free online scan too just to be safe. We recommend using F-Secure Online Scanner.
The vundo was detected by windows free online scan, but could not remove it. Vundofix.exe will not even detect it.
