Firefox 3.0.1 is now available as an update and full version here. To get the update, just hover your mouse cursor on the Help menu of Firefox and click on “Check for Updates”. The list of issues fixed in Firefox 3.0.1 is available in the Release Notes section.
The Firefox updates includes 3 critical fixes to security issues namely:
- Crash with malformed GIF file on Mac OS X
- Command-line URLs launch multiple tabs when Firefox not running
- Remote code execution by overflowing CSS reference counter
All the best updating! Cheers.
