Panda Security’s is providing a free solution to this problem through its Panda USB Vaccine that blocks autorun malwares from infecting a thumb drive or hard drive (this is not a virus removal tool).

The tool is very straightforward with two vaccination button, one to “vaccinate” your computer and the other to “vaccinate” a thumb drive. Computer vaccination disables the autorun feature in Microsoft Windows while the USB drive vaccination prevents a malware from writing a call to the autorun function.
