Microsoft Security April 2008 Update

Microsoft Security Update

Microsoft has issued an advanced notification for 5 critical updates and 3 important updates which will be available on April 8, 2008. Affected software are Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet Explorer. The updates fixes several security issues - remote code execution, spoofing, and elevation of privilege. Microsoft Security March 2008 Update

According to the Microsoft Security Response Center team, Microsoft is planning to release the March 2008 update tomorrow(11 March 2008) but the date is subject to change anytime. Affected softwares are Microsoft Office and Microsoft Office Web Component. The release will include:

  • Four Critical patches for Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Software Malicious Removal Tool
  • Two non-security high-priority updates on Microsoft Update (MU) and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)
  • Three non-security high-priority updates for Windows on Windows Update (WU) and WSUS

Microsoft Security February Update

Microsoft is planning to release 12 security updates (7 critical, 5 important) this coming Tuesday, 12 February 2008. Affected softwares are Windows, Office, Visual Basic, VBScript, JScript, Internet Explorer, IIS, Works, Active Directory and ADAM.
